What EMCC does

• We provide a unified and inclusive forum for all individuals and organisations who are involved or interested in the coaching and mentoring profession.
• We articulate and constantly develop codes of best practice covering standards, ethics and supervision of coach/mentoring not only for our members but as a reference point for the profession, the public and government.
• As part of this, we invite all practising coaches and mentors to look at training programmes accredited through the European Quality Award (EQA) and to accredit their own practice by undertaking the European Individual Accreditation (EIA) (see also http://emccaccreditation.org/).
• We promote and continuously develop the theory and practice of coaching and mentoring through high quality research.
• And we support the continual professional development of our members.
