  2. Complete an application form
  3. Maintain the currency of the annual mebership fee as defined by the Board of Administrators.

=> When joining the association, Individual members are considered as Affiliated.

Affiliated members (membres adhérents)

Affiliated members have to specify their category of membership in any public or professional communication. Should this rule not be applied, ECA/EMCC Luxembourg holds the right to cancel the membership without any reimbursement of the membership fee.

Before transitioning to the new European Individual Accreditation (EIA) developed by EMCC Europe, ECA/EMCC Luxembourg is still following its initial local accreditation process for professional coaches in Luxembourg.

Accredited members (membres titulaires)

If you wish to apply for accreditation, please include the following documents with your application form:

 - A resume (CV);

- A brochure or any document describing your professional activity as a coach;

- Any document which will state that you are following or have completed a coaching specific training as well as a personal development process;

- A summary of your coaching experience;

The accreditation process takes place every Quarter and will include the following steps :

  • Review of your application.
  • Interview with the Coordinator « Registrations and accreditations » - who is responsible for the Enrolment Committee and member of the Board of Administration, together with one other accredited member of the Board of Administration. The interview will regard your experience and motivation to become a professional coach.  All information will be treated strictly confidentially.
  • Decision of the Enrolment Committee (valid for a period of three years)
  • Communication of the decision of the Enrolment Committee.
  • If not positive, the Enrolment Committee decision can be revised one year later based upon a new interview.  In this case, the person remains an “affiliated member”.

Once accepted as an accredited member, accredited members will be entitled to promote and communicate their services as an ECA/EMCC Luxembourg accredited member.

Under the individual membership, two (2) other subcategories exist:

Founding accredited members (membres titulaires fondateurs)

This category is held by the members who originally founded the Luxembourg association in March 2006 (as listed in the statutes). They have the same rights and duties as the accredited members.
