The 1st Europe-wide EMCC Research Conference that took place on 7 and 8 July 2011 at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands was a great opportunity for scholars and practitioners to exchange what they have learned about coaching and mentoring. Different to many research conferences, this conference aimed at bringing together researchers, practitioners and researcher-practitioners to effectively answer the call for evidence-based research and practice. This book is a collection of the papers presented during the conference.
